With both artists respectively holding an extensive Kwaito rap sheet with features and solos aplenty. Authentic Soweto duo Dontouch made up of members Costa Vundras and Styzin. With a deep Kwaito musical concentration coupled with unique beat selection that comprises of Amapiano and boom Mzonkonko is born. An influence coming from a musical background, Styzin (Mahlatsi Rakoma) whom has a DJ brother has expressed him as having playing a role in shaping his sound. Taking off fairly new as a duo that instantaneously vibrated towards each other’s style of music, a formation as early as 2021 but the discography tells a collection tale. Sithembiso Guamba known in the streets and music business as Costa Vundras, having a history in soccer, he has eloquently transitioned from dribbling the ball on the field to dribbling words in the studio on the mic. Nurtured and harnessed by Soweto based LB Recordings, the duo DonTouch has made strides in the Kwaito scene so much so that adding their vocal touch on Amapiano beats has become a seamless operation. The result of the pairs’ organically being brought together in harmony of creating music also brought the introduction of the style that is now known as Mzonkonko to the broader public. Within six months of becoming LB Recordings signed artists, DonTouch released its debut EP titled Staff Sa Manyora consisting of 5 fire tracks that bring about a variety in selection.
