D'Tuniz was born in 1980 in the Banlieues of Paris, specifically in quartier 93. He moved to Amsterdam North with his parents as a young child and grew up there. As a creative teenager in the streets, he quickly gained local recognition. Alongside Rocks, a young rapper from the same neighborhood, he co-founded the Dutch independent label THC Recordz. Under this label, D'Tuniz signed his fellow artists. The group THC represented diversity, unity, and pride in one's roots, and they are still considered pioneers of Dutch street rap. They released hits such as "Wil je weten hoe het voelt," "Zina," and more. D'Tuniz, as an artist, is best known for his hits like "Kogel vangen voor je mattie," "Klik Klak," and "Laat je zak hangen." In 2014, he embarked on an acting career and has recently appeared in hit series such as "Mocro Maffia" and "Het Gouden uur." D'Tuniz is also dedicating his knowledge and experience to inspire new talent and young people, helping them believe in their own originality and strength to showcase their talents.
