Coming out of Columbia, SC, American singer-songwriter, Courtney J, brings an R&B soulful sound that is influenced by the 90's R&B Pop culture. As a military child, she's traveled nationally, experiencing diverse forms of music. Growing up, she admired Mariah Carey's music and songwriting, which later influenced her to pursue her own musical career. 
 She's spent the ending months of 2019 and half of 2020 working diligently on her debut album, Process. Within that time, she identified herself with natural beauty & authenticity, establishing her brand. Courtney J brings a heartfelt energy like no other.
