Mutrix lives alone in a small mountain town leading an enigmatic and mythical lifestyle. Surrounded by vast wilderness, extreme weather and regular encounters with bears he channels his visceral experiences into a unique, ritualistic style of bass music. Mutrix broke into the scene when his trap anthem Gunz topped the Beatport charts on Excision's Rottun Records. After several years of touring the club and festival circuit his journey led him to the mountains of the west coast. Once known for his remixes and synthetic sound design Mutrix steps back into the game in 2025 with his own original vocals and lyrics.
