He subsequently co-produced several Nu-Skool Breaks tracks under the pseudonym Mobius on Ape Records, Dusted Breaks, VIM Records and Yellow Finger. Moakz has recently returned, energised by the contemporary jungle and atmospheric sounds, with a new sound and several releases in quick succession which merge atmospheric elements with timeless breaks to deliver a mix of both epic dancefloor jungle and serene melodies. Soaring amens, space-age synths and rolling bass combine perfectly in his music and DJ sets which draw on both the classic and modern jungle and atmospheric sounds, from time to time drawing on elements of old-skool breakbeat Hardcore and more mature Liquid and Autonomic vibes. Moakz is a co-owner and resident of Codename: Amen, a Southampton-based event focussing on modern and classic Jungle, 160, Breakbeats, Hardcore and Atmospheric DnB / Jungle.
