Born in Australia, and growing up in Romania, Anais now studies in Berlin where she makes her own music alongside being the lead singer in the rock band Kings & Pills. She started writing music at the age of 11, growing up surrounded mainly by classical orchestral music and taking inspiration from artists such as Woodkid, AURORA, London Grammar, Florence + The Maschine, has helped her develop her own distinct style of dark pop orchestral music. She writes in hope of being a voice that others can take on, in a way that will make them feel seen in their own way. In her writing she combines both her personal feelings and experiences with ongoing issues that the world surrounds us by.
