Syer B is a Grime MC/Producer from Dagenham-East London, mostly known for his witty rhyming skills he has been on the grime circuit since the very beginning. Appearing on various pirate radio stations such as Deja vu and Freeze fm.Syer, along with OT Crew had a weekly show on Rinse FM from 2002. After releasing numerous Grime tracks produced by the likes of Geeneus and Lewi White In 2004 he was slowly creating a name for himself as one of the ones to watch. In 2005 Syer began working with Wiley and became a part of The Roll Deep Entourage alongside the likes of Skepta, Jme and many more. He featured on some classic Grime tracks such as “Saw it coming” which featured on Wiley’s ‘Tunnel vision’ His first independent release was soon to follow, ‘Boy with the fire’ was a well received mixtape featuring the likes of Wiley Jme, Scorcher, Geeneus, Lewi White to name a few. This tape put his name firmly in the top tier of Grimes best MCs bringing the high paced rhyming ability that he was known for but it also showed a deeper side to his song writing and production. Two more mixtapes along with numerous singles and instrumental tracks were also independently released soon after.Due to personal reasons and some difficulties Syer had a hiatus from the scene but came back to release a number of projects including the self produced grime EP with Devlin “Something In the water” and the solo double EP ‘Fire x Frost’ ft.
