Wanyé Corbin, better known as Flowgod Wan is a singer-songwriter whose cultivated the admiration of being an R&B sensation who also raps. Born in Atlanta and raised in Philadelphia, Wan's music is a wave of soul and trap blending the two realms into a well-verse sound. Coming from a musical father who sang backup for Musiq Soulchild and was always on the road didn't stop the young Wanyé from discovering his own talents and love for music. At an early age Wan taught himself how to play the drums, piano, bass, clarinet, saxophone, and learned to read music. Wan began rapping at 17 but later on started to take it seriously at 20. Wan's distinct vocal ability complimented by his penmanship allows him to cater to a sound that is refreshing, yet bridges the world's of old soul meets new R&B. Influenced by the likes of Musiq Soulchild, Drake, and Chris Brown to name a few, Wan hopes to continue to make his presence known through his musical storytelling.
