Born on 28th March 1995, Webster James Linton aka The Prince of Lovers Rock Reggae, is a London-born Roots, Reggae Lovers Rock, and Soul Singer/Songwriter. Webster’s Gospel-trained, raspy vocals summon up a bygone era. Webster is known for his dynamic 5-Octave range high tenor/falsetto voice and is an award-winning twice nominee artist, awarded the Premier Gospel Award for Best Newcomer in 2021. He is known for his catchy choruses and hooks in the UK reggae fraternity. Webster is inspired by artists such as Aretha Franklin and Dennis Brown. Webster has done backing vocals for Christine Joy White, Private Collection, Amy Winehouse, Stormzy, Marcia Griffiths, and Jessie J. His own single titled "You Give Me Joy", was produced by Mafia and Fluxy, and earned a number 2 spot in the UK Reggae Gospel Charts. In 2022, "Bring It on Home to Me", a Sam Cooke soul classic, produced by Gregory Fabolous (The Dread UK Productions) entered both the UK and American Reggae Charts at number 9 in 2021."Secret Admirer", a cover of George Wright and the Ovations went into the UK Reggae charts at number 7 in 2021. He released "Baby I Love You" on the Redeemer Riddim. Webster has toured with several top Jamaican and American reggae and soul artists, and recorded with top international and national producers such as Dillie Stingray Record Productions, Bucky Jo (Buzzwak Records), Mafia and Fluxy (Cousins Record Label), Joe G's, Chris Peckings, The Dread UK, Reggae Star Factor (Jack Reuben).
