Young Dutch tenor and composer, Linard Vrielink has a wide variety of roles in both opera and concert repertoire. Besides his international career as singer, Vrielink focuses on composing for vocal ensemble and solistic vocal repertoire. On may 5th, Vrielink's first own album, Moments of Vision is released in collaboration with decurio Record Label. The album, containing a seven part cycle, was written for four male voices and is sung by Jaka Mihelač, Adam Kutny, Erik Rosenius and Linard Vrielink himself. In 2022/23, he will give his house and role debut as Tamino/Die Zauberflöte at Bergen National Opera, perform the role of Federico in Mascagni’s L’Amico Fritz with the Nederlands Radio Filharmonisch Orkest and Andrea Battistoni, make his debut at the BBC PROMS and return to Staatsoper Berlin as Arbace/Idomeneo, conducted by Sir Simon Rattle, Asle/Sleepless and for his role debut as Leukippos in a new production by Romeo Castellucci of Strauss’ Daphne.
