The musical sensation, Micralph a.k.a Mikey with the Nikes is a hardcore rapper, record producer/sound engineer, songwriter and all-round artist from Ngor-Okpala in Imo State, Nigeria and was raised in the city of Aba in Abia State, Nigeria. Micralph's music appears to be a blend of Western Hip-Hop/Rap and Rnb, his local African Hip-Hop, and Afropop, with intricate lyrics and a strong emphasis on wordplay, metaphors, and storytelling. His flow is complex, with a mix of rapid-fire delivery and more introspective moments. From his lyrical depth and complexity, creative wordplay and metaphors, to his energetic and engaging flow and storytelling ability, Micralph has a way of captivating listeners. He first began in 2020, producing songs for underground artists and making beats, before he began writing songs, rapping, as well as collaborating with various underground artists across the globe all in the bid of seeking a means of livelihood during the COVID-19 lockdown.
