Biography

Heather Day is a singer/songwriter from South England who writes fun and relatable pop music. Starting to write songs from the age of 12, she recorded her first album with a girl group in a professional recording studio in 1998 at the age of 14. Heather wrote and recorded her first solo album in 2002 with the late music producer Alan Cotty at Studio24. She went on to record a further two albums with Alan and had started on a fourth when Alan sadly passed away in 2009. After a short break from music she started afresh in 2011 and recorded 'Heartbreaker' at River Studios in Southampton with producer Olli Daffarn and harmony arranger Dan Cooper. Heather continued to work with Olli and Dan and in 2013 Heather released her album, 'Daydreaming' which included the single 'X-Ray' feat. Dretonio. In 2019, Heather released her album, 'In The Clouds' which includes the singles, 'Repeat' and 'I Believe In Me'. This was her second album with Olli and Dan and her first recorded at Blue Dot Studios in Brighton. She then continued to record at Blue Dot Studios and, despite many setbacks including redundancy, pregnancy and Covid, she released her latest album, 'Head Over Heels' in 2022, which includes a feature from reggae artist, Remedy Don. Heather signed a record contract with Poke Music Limited in January 2023, enabling her songs 'X-Ray', 'Fly' and 'LOL' to be used for TV.
