Biography

Characteristic sound and a perfect combination of electronics and a singer-songwriter’s poetry. "Zrní“ have an extraordinary ability to create a perfect atmosphere within a few moments and touch the listener by heart. A feeling of pure joy and a deep experience of their performance emerged into your body. With their talent for melody and mixture of modern sound, contemporary electronic music and a singer-songwriter’s poetry they’re icons of innovation and the quest for something new on Czech alternative scene. From playing on the street they worked their way to the top through their talent and effort. With their openness to different styles and instrumental maturity, both accordion and beatboxing, flute and experiments with loopers can be heard in the band’s music. At moments the Zrní’s acoustic/electronic music with its multilayered texts, which it creates collectively, immerses you in the landscapes of dance and ambient music. Their distinctive live performances are the same as their music: authentic, dense, energetic and hypnotic. The band „Zrní“ held in October 2017 the celebration party of their new album „Jiskřící“ in exclusive area of the Forum Karlín, Prague. „Zrní“ claimed this sold-out party to be their biggest independent concert with more than 2300 visitors. Apart from sold-out venues and prime-time slots on the main stages at major festivals, they are commended in reviews by music critics and audience as well. More info: www.zrni.cz
