EJ Imho, born and raised in East London, is an eclectic producer and multi-instrumentalist. Inspired by music from the likes of Thundercat, Hiatus Kaiyote and Louis Cole, EJ produces a versatile alternative RnB sound with hip hop undertones. Over the years, EJ has been known to collaborate with a range of artists such as [ K S R ], Nonso Amadi, Kwoli Black, davecreates and Kente Kwame on numerous projects; in all capacities as a supportive arm, spearhead in song-writing and production, and live performances. He returns with full force with a new and inspired track sure to titillate the ears of his listeners, ‘Don’t Forget Me’. After his hiatus, he is ready to share yet even more sonically refined sounds and this track is no exception. ‘Don’t Forget Me’ has a heady beat which segues into his subtle vocals which carry the melody beautifully into the verses. The song is a love letter, where themes of forgiveness and hope of maintaining a relationship are explored. This song embodies EJ’s signature alternative R&B/Soul/Electronic style. The percussion is unyielding and secure and the vocals dance around the guitar perfectly, combining for a soothing and emotive listening experience.
