Biography

Rodney Williams, also known as 'Premo Suave,' was born on August 18th in Brooklyn, N.Y. As a teen attending Science Skills Center High School in the Flatbush area of B.K., he found his love for Hip Hop while joking around with childhood friends, before using his wit to compete with a neighborhood rap group led by local battle rapper Cortez. Realizing he had a natural knack for the art form, Williams began to take the possibility of a career in music more seriously. He is now known amongst the underground Hip Hop scene as one of the most gifted artists in the borough. Williams, who lists the Notorious B.I.G., Fabolous, Lil Wayne, Cam'ron, and Mase as his biggest musical influences, has performed at legendary venues like S.O.B's, Webster Hall, King of Diamonds, SoundBar Orlando, and more. It was at NYC's Pyramid Club where he honed his skills over the years and built his buzz, however. Williams most looks forward to working with artists like Tory Lanez, whom he believes has found the balance between lyrical competency and the energy today's Hip Hop fans crave. Williams' passions include music, making money, playing basketball, working out, and "finding the best weed to smoke."
