Karlien van Jaarsveld made her first appearance in the Afrikaans music industry in 2011 with her album “Jakkals trou met wolf se vrou”. In 2013 she brought out “Uitklpohou” which went platinum within 6 weeks of release. It also received 9 nominations at the Ghoema Awards, taking home 4 of them. “My hartjie” followed in 2015 which was received with the same enthusiam, and featured some of her biggest hits to date including, ‘My Hartjie’ & ‘Geskeurde jeans’ She is currently working on a new album and has just released a single ’Stiltes’.
