After gaining respect in several aspects of the entertainment industry, Statyk decided to introduce himself to the electronic music scene. With his best friend, Devious, at his side, Statyk began producing electronic music in mid 1998 as well as playing keyboards in a live PA with Devious. Deciding he needed a way to get his original music out, Statyk began spinning in September of 1999. Since his start, Statyk has produced a mountain of original tracks, has gained exposure throughout the US as well as in Russia, UK, Sweden, Denmark, and Canada, and has spun with almost every well established breakbeat DJ in Florida including Infiniti, DJ Icey, Baby Anne, Rick West, Gumbee, Raz, R-Fresh, Mike & Charlie, Malicious Mike, and many more! On April 16, 2003, Nth Degree Records released Statyk's collaborative work with Danish producer, DeeCoy (aka Unknown Source aka Yamino) on vinyl under the San Diego based label. This would mark Statyk's first vinyl release. Shortly after, the track was heard all throughout southern California as well as in upstate New York, various regions of Florida, and throughout Europe. Statyk is currently focused on dubstep production and has been working on taking his sound design to the next level.
