From the tropical vibes of Maui, to the suburban streets of Michigan, I've pulled inspiration from many different walks of life. The music that I release transcends norms and musical barriers where most people won't go. Starting with painting a picture of romance and heartbreak, my single "EZ" brings home the sudden realization that the college to adult transition comes with a lot more than meets the eye. The follow-up to EZ titled "Rocketman" is where my wordplay ran wild. The ambiguity in this track leaves it open for listeners to put themselves into the track and connect on a more personal level. For me, Rocketman was about the act of balancing my ugly traits of self loathing with a dollop of narcissism. However, I found my most pure self when confonted with this someone who could call me out on my bullshit.
