Ștefan Petrache was a vocalist, lyricist, composer from the Republic of Moldova, known for his work as soloist of the TeleRadio Moldova Orchestra (1974-1975), of the vocal-instrumental bands "Orizont" (1977) and "Contemporanul" (1978-1981), and founder of the band "Plai" (1982-1987). Spending 32 years of his life on stage and on tour, he is the author and performer of many musical pieces popular in the Republic of Moldova, which remain in the national cultural heritage.
