Lars David Kellner (*1973 in Weiden, Germany) is a multiple graduate pianist of the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München. His CD recordings include bravura pieces by Chopin, Liszt and Rachmaninoff. Kellner's Mussorgsky album (2010) with recordings on the famous Horowitz piano caused an international sensation: for this, the pianist reconstructed the original version of the pieces from the composer's manuscript and presented those as a premiere. Also, the most comprehensive recording of Janáček's piano works to date on three CDs (2013), which Kellner presented to the music world after extensive study of the sources, received the highest praise from critics. Lars David Kellner's concert repertoire includes works of the Romantic era, turn-of-the-century and modern periods. Numerous world premieres attest to his affinity for the previously unheard. Since founding the tastenReich® ensemble (2017), Lars David Kellner has included other keyboard instruments such as harmonium and celesta in his programs and recording projects alongside valued musicians. Numerous publications of audio and video material on renowned music portals attest to the versatile musical work of the keyboard artist. His harmonium albums with the complete solo works by Liszt (2020/21) as well as the recording of rarely performed pieces by Karg-Elert testify to Lars David Kellner's rank as a harmonium specialist.
