Phakama Denzel Thango (21/03/97) also known as Denzel, born and raised in Durban Kwamashu In South Africa 🇿🇦. Denzel was introduced into music at very young age as he grew up around the culture of soul/rnb, with inspiration from the likes of Lemar Maxwell Anthony Hamilton & John Legend. Denzel was then introduced to rap music in the late 2000s started writing his own lyrics in 2010, 1st recorded in 2015, started producing, beat making and engineering in 2018, that's the same year he was introduced to alt rock, punk rock, bedroom pop & emo trap with the likes of guardin girl in red & Juice WRLD. Denzel just started releasing his music in 2019 on Soundcloud, and his 1st release on Spotify in 2020.
