In 2007, Nehemiah Hield went into gospel music administration and music ministry at Kingdom Glory Records created by Mount Tabor Church and pastored by Bishop Neil C. Ellis. Over the past 14 years Nehemiah has worked full time as Minister of Music and an Assistant Praise and Worship Director. Nehemiah is no stranger to the music industry being the original Lead Singer of the world renowned group BahaMen, and as a backing vocalist for International recording artist Lenny Kravitz. Since 2014 Nehemiah has recorded and released a number of gospel singles including “One More Hallelujah” featuring Stevie S, another Bahamian music recording Legend. Nehemiah has been known as one of the better Male voices in the Bahamas for many years and has been recognized on many different levels of his career. In 2015 the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism awarded him the Legends Award for his contributions in Music and Entertainment and in 2016, a Living Legend Award from The Noo School of Music and Performing Arts. Almost 40 years in, he's still very active with his recording career as a gospel artist locally and around his church’s music ministry.
