Ludovic Frances aka Dead Or Live was born in south of France, on Catalan soil. From a very young age he became interested in music by learning the guitar thanks to the Guitare Pro software. His parents followed him and he took music theory and piano lessons. Without success, he gave up and became interested in drums. Very quickly he formed a punk band with friends and did a few dates in Perpignan then stopped to devote himself to electronic music. Computer composition was a revelation for him when he discovered Reason and the Rave Party movement in 2006. He then began to make himself known under the pseudonym Stead by composing and playing a tribecore live. He will press 4 Vinyls on Underground TerHappy label under the pseudonyms Stead, Jimmy Neutrik and PLF. In 2010 he left Perpignan to settle in Lyon. He discovered festivals like Nuits Sonores, Reperkusounds, etc. His influences are changing radically. Shortly afterwards, he acquired his first synthesizer, the beginning of a very long collection that he has since expanded. It's a new start, and he need a new nickname: Dead Or Live. Being a big fan of music played on stage (and therefore by artists who often have a pseudonym that ends live), he finds Dead Or Live, a word game with the fighting game in reference to his geek side. It now has 3 EPs, the soundtrack of a Star Wars fan art and the prize of best soundtrack at 48h Sous L'Eau 2018. On stage, he offers a dynamic Electro live show!
