NVN Nate is a Melodic Rap Songwriter, Producer and studio engineer who has released music over the years from 2013 to 2020 with his NVN counterpart and co writer NVN Vioenix. He is now venturing into a solo career and set to release a series of projects in a theme driven timeline. Earlier on he was very much inspired by Hip hop music from the likes of Jay Z, Big pun and Big L which is where he got his complex flows and witty punchlines. Being from the UK there wasn’t much inspiration coming from his home town until so solid crew emerged. He then got into the garage sound which then evolved into Grime. Nate was inspired from this scene as it was something he could relate to more than his U.S influences. Nate began to go on pirate radio stations and doing grime sets, clashing other artist and producing beats using FL studio. Nate then joined a crew of other mc’s called “Da connection” the crew gained some popularity locally but it was short lived as they split on a mutual agreement and began separate journeys. Nate would continue creating music at one of his friends studio and created two mixtapes. To describe Nate’s sound is Innovated and versatile with influence from hip hop, RnB and electro 80’s music. He creates elements in his composition relating to trap and R’N’B which makes trap soul and infuses 80s pop synths with hardcore Trap 808 bass. This musical combination from his influences creates something unique and sets NVN Nate apart from the rest.
