In Montreal’s ever-growing bass music scene, LVWZ is quickly rising through the ranks toward the top. If you’re wondering why, just ask anyone who has been to one of his shows. LVWZ takes his audience on an auditory journey, building a distinct cyberpunk universe while simultaneously pummeling listeners with track after track of apocalyptic bass. Rivard began shaping his LVWZ brand in 2018, largely focusing his sound toward electro house. The producer spent much of the year entering remix competitions and releasing unofficial remixes to help turn LVWZ into a recognized name. From there, Rivard began developing his signature mid-tempo sound (influenced by the works of Porter Robinson, Shadient, Xavi and Madeon), leading to songs like “Revolution,” “God” and the Synesthesia Records - released slammer “Electron.” 2019 has undoubtedly been monumental for LVWZ, kicking off the year with official remixes for Crimson Child and Too Kind, and only moving up from there. LVWZ has been booked for several live shows throughout the year; as direct support for Chime, Ray Volpe, L.U.X, Aweminus & Ecraze including a couple headline gigs and a spot at Montreal’s AIM festival with acts like Getter, ATLiens, Mantis, Code: Pandorum, LSDream, Oolacile, Hi I'm Ghost and many more.
