Phoenix rapper / producer Cody June; does not care to be categorized nor how people perceive him. 
 Born in 1995, in the city of Phoenix, Arizona there wasn’t much musical inspiration oozing out of its core. Growing up to the Dixie Chicks, and Aerosmith he could only look to his brother for some musical taste that may fit his personality better. This is where, Cody discovered his love for Hip Hop. From dabbling in Bone Thugs, to memorizing Lil Wayne lyrics, there wasn’t anywhere he could go without hip hop following. Cody started writing music around age 8, and progressed to recording his first song at age 13. In 2019, after numerous name changes, “career” changes and year long hiatus’, with all the trials of life being hurled towards him, he decided to get back into the world of making music under the name “Cody June” 
 & In 2020, he released his first official single titled “Goodbye, Good Morning” to which shows a true side of heartbreak and hope, something that a lot of us feel. This message also seems to be instilled in other releases such as, “Wait Up 4 Me” & “i don’t know” showing that this isn’t a human who is trying to search for money and fame, but maybe a sliver of happiness hidden deep within himself. 
 The future is unsure, and unpredictable but I think it’s safe to predict, that @codyjune is gonna be around for awhile.
