D'Shaun Banks, better known by his stage name D'Shaun, was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He began making music at a very young age, as both his parents sung in the church and his father played piano and directed the choir. Growing up in a musical household, as his father wrote and recorded Gospel, R&B, and Neo-Soul music. D'Shaun like his father puts together different genres of music, and styles collectively to create his sound. Artist, producer, engineer, & songwriter, the Texas native does it all. Hence where he gained the name “1manband”. Leading his independent collective “Royalty” stylized ‘RYLTY’, Predominantly producing and mixing all of his music, D'Shaun’s songs don’t have many guest appearances.
