Biography

https://linktr.ee/templestep Music Producer, Benjamin Last, is defined by the mark of a maverick in the pursuit of creating extraordinary soundscapes that stand for oneness, passion and transformation. For 25 years, Temple Step has literally bought the shaman to the people, bringing sets, ceremony and spiritual awakening to live performance. His prolific career in studio mastering and stage performance has forged pioneering explorations into tribal-ethno-electronic flavours. Freelancing as a Producer, DJ and Sound Healer, he draws from a playful, instrumental spread of percussion, flute, synth, vocals, sansula and bold use of bass. Seamlessly, worlds are blended and timelines merge, all through the language of his music. The artist insists on sound as sacred; a vibrational, alchemical tool. With it, he evokes states and feelings that invite audiences to embrace full creative expression. Temple Step has collaborated and remixed with artists such as Desert Dwellers, Deya Dova, Peruquois, Ganga Giri, Murray Kyle, Wild Marmalade, Raio, Darpan and Fire Mane, and satisfied local and international festival circuits including Beloved Festival (USA), Sonic Bloom (USA), Rainbow Serpent (AUS), Earth Frequency (AUS), Woodford (AUS) and Earthdance (AUS). He is Principal Producer of Motiv Music – an international music production company. The Temple Step studio is based in Melbourne serving clientele, locally and abroad.
