Tomek Torres is a graduate of the F. Chopin General Music School in Bytom and the K. Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław in the instrumental faculty. A musician with 25 years of experience on the Polish music scene, a renowned session drummer, co-founder of the band Afromental, and a regular member of Urszula Dudziak's and Sławek Uniatowski's bands. Tomek Torres is a handpan player and composer, known for his virtuosic approach to playing the handpan. His music is characterized by deep emotional expression and a unique style that combines elements of ethnic music, ambient, and improvisation. Tomek has been an active artist in the handpan scene for many years. His music often emanates calmness and a meditative quality, making his concerts and recordings appreciated by both handpan enthusiasts and a broader audience seeking relaxing and inspiring sounds.
