Lindy Layton - Singer Songwriter and DJ. Lindy’s rise to fame came when she hit the UK Single’s Chart in 1990, fronting the band Beats International alongside Norman Cook AKA Fatboy Slim. The single “Dub Be Good To Me” was a worldwide smash hit, reaching No 1 in at least ten countries, then went on to get a number one album “Let Them Eat Bingo” and achieved three more top ten hits. Lindy released her first solo album “Pressure” and went on to complete two world tours to promote it. In 1994 came another No 1 smash hit with a Garage track “We Got Love”. After promoting in the club scene Lindy’s DJing career took off leading to world tours and residency at the Hacienda club in Manchester. Lindy was a hit in Japan when she wrote her third solo album “No Other Star”,. While touring Japan“Hardknox” Was formed the band had huge underground success and Major Tours with top UK dance acts; After their US tour Hardknox were asked to support Moby on his Play World Tour in 1999. Lindy writes and often performs with the mighty Dub Pistols, Singing and DJing at all the key festivals in the U.K and Europe. Enjoying main stages at Bestival, Shindig, Isle of White, Glastonbury Festival and many more.
