Born Adesina David Ayomikun in the Gambia to Nigerian parents, David has always been a poet at heart and would write short poems for friends in his free time during high school. Raised on @J.Cole, @Eminem, @MI, @Drake, @Rakim and @2Pac, Kvng Savage decided to venture into rap after reading the anthology of rap which describes rap as oral poetry. The Ibadan based University student, released his first single in 2019 and has since then released more singles and EPs, most notable among these EPs are the Enjoy your December (EYD1&2) projects for which he is mostly associated with. David (Kvng Savage) says he only makes music he resonates with. Savage as he is popularly called is master at painting vivid pictures with his words. He says “the goal is to paint our stories properly and to do this we need a whole pallet to paint with” Kvng Savage is currently working on Savage has been defined as “conflicted but highly” intelligent by old friends and close associates even though his lyrics show no signs of such. David continues to play by his own rules and make the powers that be uncomfortable. He remains unboxed by genres as versatility is one of his core values.
