Amara 林 is not one to be confined by genre. From experimental rock to singer/songwriter, her varied musical influences are apparent in her work. Her poetic lyricism draws listeners in and keeps them there. With many different projects in the works, she enjoys collaborating with various artists including co-writer, guitarist, and producer Matthew Baum. She also front-mans local band Silk Road, who play regularly across the Bay Area. Amara began songwriting at the age of 14 and is excited to now be recording and producing in order to share her music with the world. The biracial California native is currently based in the Bay Area, where she juggles many different musical worlds as a music student, music teacher, band member, and independent artist.
