Luxtides is the moniker of Brooklyn-based artist and songwriter Danni Bouchard. As the vocalist on the Grammy-nominated AFROJACK & David Guetta single “Hero,” which amassed 1 million streams in 24 hours and went on to reach #1 at dance radio in the US, Luxtides’ first foray into the dance music world was a big one. With a live performance of the song during Afrojack's set on the MainStage at Ultra Music Festival and a Grammy nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Recording under her belt, she has begun collaborating with electronic artists including Trivecta, Borgeous, Damon Sharpe, Manila Killa, and more, garnering millions of streams and dozens of Spotify playlist adds. Before Luxtides, Bouchard’s previous endeavor Oh Honey (Fueled By Ramen/Atlantic) amassed millions of streams through dozens of sync placements and multiple tours with artists like The Fray and Ingrid Michaelson. She builds on that momentum with Luxtides, penning darker, dreamier songs that soundtrack her experiences with heartache, mental illness, and finding her voice. Her solo music has been played on SiriusXM The Pulse and has landed syncs on various MTV and Netflix shows, including “The Hills, New Beginnings” and “Insatiable.” Luxtides has also co-written songs for artists across multiple genres, including Natasha Bedingfield, Linney, Lena Leon and more.
