New album “Far Beyond” out now!! I’m a singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist who makes… well a little bit of everything I guess! I’m from Southern CA which is where I started writing songs in my head at the age of 6. I became obsessed with the film scores of my childhood movies like Star Wars and Indiana Jones, and began to hear music of my own. I picked up the drums after seeing my dad on my grandfathers set, and shortly after piano and guitar followed. In high school, my best friend and I formed an instrumental prog band called Möbius Quantizoid where we learned how to play with time signatures, write complex melody, and generally melt faces. Recently, I’ve discovered my love for singing taking inspiration from bands and songwriters like Stevie Wonder, Styx, and my personal hero Michael McDonald (so good). I set off to 100% self produce an album of music that reminded me of the music my dad shared with me growing up. I couldn’t help but refuse to have one sound or one instrument, learning how to play around with instruments like saxophone, mandolin, dulcimer, and a whole litany of other weird and wonderful tools with which I’ve come to an ultimate self expression.
