Mondoe is a rap artist who hails from Compton California. He was born Mondo Cartwright Jr. on August 6, 1986 in Inglewood California. He fell in love with hip hop after hearing such works as Nas(It was written), Biggie (Ready to Die), and Tupac (All Eyez on Me). His love for hip hop influenced him to begin writing and rapping his own lyrics. In high school he would participate in cyphers and battles with other artists. His lyrics would also win in competitions and talent shows. Mondoe has three completed projects, Love and Respect, The Hoodlum, and his most recent Now Eyez on Me. His latest project is one that he feels is his best work yet. It shines light on his past and upbringing yet it refers to hopes for the future. In 2016 Mondoe founded 20/20 Vision a production company collective which focuses creating content for new artists. He has major plans for his company, one being to have an artists management department. These plans for expanding the brand are already in the works. There are three artists whom have created projects through 20/20 and there is still room for more. The mission of 20/20 is “Achieving success by 2020”. This is something that Mondoe still passionately works to achieve and the outlook for year 2020 looks bright as this new star is getting his shine.
