Thomas Farnon is a British composer born in Guernsey. His music is known for being melodic, emotional and vivid with his musical style being showcased in his releases “A”, “Reverie” and “Solace” on the Chromium Music Group label. His recent release “Impromptu No.1" has gone on to be streamed over seven million times to date. Recent projects have included the scores to the BBC/PBS series ‘Fight the Power: How Hip Hop Changed The World’, Yemi Bamiro’s ’Super Eagles ‘96’, and THQ Nordics’ award winning ‘Expeditions: Rome’. Over the past decade Thomas has contributed music for projects such as: ‘The Legend of Tarzan’, ‘Hacksaw Ridge’, ‘The Crown’, ‘The Ridiculous 6’, ‘Wonder Woman’, ‘Churchill’, ‘Dough’, ‘American Hero’ and ‘Open Season: Scared Silly’. In 2017 alongside Lorne Balfe, Thomas produced the score for Warner Bros’s ‘The Lego Batman Movie’. Thomas is one of the founders of Chromium Music Group, a modern-classical publisher and record label and has released numerous commercial albums through Chromium, which as well as commercial success, have also frequently been heard on films, tv and advertising – recent examples include Apple TV’s ‘Invasion’ and FX’s Dave. Forthcoming projects include co-scoring Netflix’s ‘Our Planet II’ alongside Jasha Klebe, and a Natural History Series due to air on BBC1.
