The creative path of pivoting from YouTube drummer to solo artist has taken Dylan Taylor across the world and back with his music. After amassing over 120,000 subscribers and 12 Million Views for his energetic and passionate drum cover videos, Dylan wanted more from his music career, which would only begin from taking a step back and starting from the most important part of any journey: the beginning. Whether its honing his producing skills as he records/mixes/masters his own songs, or spends the sleepless nights and callused fingers practicing the multiple instruments in his creative arsenal, Taylor refuses to be limited solely as a drummer. Such motivation has lead to his first signed single “Frankenstein”, reaching TOP 10 on Beatport releases and over 800,000 streams. Continuing to spread his creative reach, Taylor starts performing as a DJ/Drummer act nationwide, interjecting what he is most comfortable with, alongside the new territory of performing on stage by himself. Now Taylor pursues a more genuine and melancholy mood to his music as it gravitates towards a “real” musician performances of guitar, piano, drums, and finally, his own voice. With his debut album, “All Is Fair In Love & Nightmares,” he completed every track himself from conception to release becoming a very personal experience for his listeners.
