M. B. Was born Jose Yanez in 1980 to Mexican immigrants in the Town of Oakland Ca. The eldest of 3 siblings and the wild one. He was raised in the streets but also Graduated High school. In elementary, middle school and high school he received awards for his poetry and writings. As time passed he kept writing to distract him from the chaos that he had been submerged in since he graduated. Eventually he met Tellie and Mz'Silky of Straight Gutta Reecords who showed him how to transform his writings in to songs. He studied and learned for the next 12-14 years with artists like Don Toni-O and eventually joining Treal Yung Talent Ent. Thanks to E-Dubb1 and EvilOne who embraced him like FAMILY.
