O’Hara (real name Gabriëlla O’Hara Julies) originates from George, Western Cape but relocated to Cape Town in the year 2022 in pursuit of her career as a singer / songwriter. She brings a unique style of music and is reinventing the R&B space with her overlap to trap wave and afro beat sub genres. It's hard to pin an exact genre on this exciting rising star as she remains quite versatile. O’Hara plans to release her own catalog of music in the year 2024 after experiencing a few setbacks in the previous year. She has however managed to collaborate with quite a few artists, such as Jolly B in the UK, Soul T Idyan from South Africa as well as King Kerby who originates from Kenya, only to name a few. Furthermore, we can say that the year ahead looks quite promising for O’Hara, who now finds herself in Johannesburg, driven to making her dreams come true. Stay tuned.
