Biography

The band U-Prag was formed in the autumn of 2002 in Prague and since then has established itself very well on the Czech electronic scene. The core of the band consists of members: Šimon Dvorský (vocals), Daniel Petkevič (percussion, cello), Tomáš Lacina (bass guitar), Jan Stiborek (percussion, guitar), Milan Broum (guitar), Michal Pavlicek (drums) and MC and DJ Skiver J. The band was featured in a short fictional documentary comedy by director Martin Kopp "U.P.R.G" about a Prague breakbeat band. In March 2009, their debut album "44 Thousand Actors /in 16 Flats/" was released on SubPub records. In December 2015 the second album "Seconds of Life" was released on the band's own label Every Single Soul and in May 2019 the third album "Some Kind of Music" was released on the same label. The band's fourth album, "...", will be released during 2024.
