Dr. Wav is a producer, arranger, and worldbuilder bridging Black music's past, present and future. A classically trained keyboardist studied in mix engineering and synthesizer programming, he has released solo and collaborative projects under different aliases for over 15 years. As a member of the production crew Columbia Nights, he has crafted critically acclaimed albums melding alternative R&B, electronica, jazz fusion, and golden age hip-hop. AllMusic describes the group as "whiz-kid progeny of the Native Tongues and Soulquarians who have absorbed every recording referenced or sampled by those collectives." Bolstered by the award-winning 2021 single “Erasure,” his output with hip-hop soul band Golden Browne has garnered festival invitations and international radio play. With a growing catalog of collaborations and remixes under his belt, Dr. Wav is poised to continue pushing his soultronic energy into new frontiers as he prepares his first full-length solo release.
