Rex is a multi-talented figure who continuously works on trying to improve himself. He is an evolving producer, artist, content creator, and entrepreneur. Striving for success, he always aspires to get better at his craft while pursuing what he loves. Rex started producing music in high school, where he started exploring his love of production in GarageBand. With a school issued iPad and a spark of curiousity, his interest in production slowly grew into a hobby he enjoyed. He enjoyed making electronic music at first, but then his tastes started to branch out into other genres of music, such as rap, indie, and pop music. Following his high school graduation in 2018, Rex saw an opportunity to start experimenting with other genres of music and take his music to another level. He had big plans, but knew he had to start small. Producing under the alias "Space Jam", he was able to release three separate projects over the span of two years. His first project was a beat tape called "Polk Street", where he started to see small amounts of fame and success among his friends and his peers. Following that, he released a lo-fi EP called "The Fresh Laundry Series" and a collabrative artist project entitled "Sunset Drive". Fast forwarding to the year 2020, Space Jam released some of his most recognized and well-received singles to date, including Coastin', Flight, and Free Fall before deciding to re-brand to his original name, Rex.
