Since forming as a quartet 25 years ago, Speedometer has been at the forefront of the funk and soul scene. While on the playlists of every funk and soul DJ dropping heavy funk, latin or soulful beats on dancefloors around the world, their music has also been the backdrop for countless TV shows and Hollywood film trailers. Speedometer has also inspired a new a generation of bands too. Over the years they have toured all over Europe and Japan and they released countless 45 singles, 8 studio albums, including collaborations with some of legendary names in soul and funk. During 2022, the band were busy writing and recording 2 new albums at the legendary Abbey Road Studios for Universal's Abbey Road Masters label. To mark their 25th anniversary they will be releasing a limited edition vinyl LP of the Abbey Road Funk & Soul sessions. Limited to just 250 copies and available January 2024.
