Sometimes there is only a fine line between love and hate. Dull, gloomy threatening nights versus sunny, warm lovely days. Soft pop-progressions facing aggressive sounds, messages that explore the lust for life against the destruction brought to earth by every human being. Good and bad, black and white, yin and yang, order and chaos - there are always two sides to every coin. Distraster handle this dichotomy in their music by an unlimited creative flow, which makes it more difficult to define a genre. After years of touring the world playing the drums in different bands and projects, the two brothers Dominique and Etienne Destraz decided to form the producing-duo Distraster in 2017. This project aims to break the boundaries of common pop-music. Creativity is the key. The debut album BEER FOR THE CHAMPIONS for instance was made out of beersounds only. With Distraster everything is possible, and collaborations embellish their work.
