Shaun Mason is a singer/songwriter from Morris County, New Jersey. From VHS to YouTube to his viral SnapChat video “The Light’s Green Go”, Shaun can be seen in videos from an early age showcasing his range of talents, his songwriting abilities and desire to entertain while sharing his passions with the world. Heavily influenced by vocalists such as Corey Taylor (Slipknot/Stone Sour) and Chester Bennington (Linkin Park), Shaun went from performing cover songs at local bars to fronting the metal band “Seas of Wake” for 7 years. While building a fanbase with his band, Shaun stepped out of his rock/metal roots to create his first solo album in 2015, titled “Our Vicious Cycle.” Mixed & Mastered at Backroom Studios by Kevin Antreassian (The Dillinger Escape Plan), the album features 10 of his songs that range anywhere from hard hitting alternative tracks to dark acoustic tunes and even slow haunting piano ballads. With many new releases including his Paramore cover duet with Anji Kaizen, and originals such as “Beyond Our Control”, “Serenade”, “Irrational” and “Morbid Winter”, Shaun has made a promise to his fans to remain consistent with new music for decades to come.
