Cman's Fantastic Voyage

Red Meat

The Big Jamboree

2003 Remastered

Biography

Heavily Inspired By Eddie Murphy, this New Orleans Based band has had its history. In 2011 Guitarist Adam Shoft met up with Bassist and Bartender Jake Lioness at a soft spoken poetry night in Louisiana. In 2012 they started their own band "Get Up and Groove" a new wave dance pop indie group that was reminiscent of Dee-Lites "Groove is in the heart". They disbanded shortly after after a personal disagreement between the two. Years later, in 2017, they reunited and began work on the album Cman's Fantastic Voyage. Focusing heavily on making the creative process fun again, the two hit the studio with a new perspective. Many of the songs have improvised lines and music, and the group didn't shy away from changing direction mid song. They released it in December 2017, and received positive feedback. One month after the release of Cman's Fantastic Voyage Shoft and Lioness entered the studio again with a new concept in mind. Their next album 2003 Remastered is scheduled for release sometime July 2018.<br>
