Northwest rapper SQVTCH (Squatch) is a powerhouse of different sounds, melodies, and explosive demeanor. His style of introspective content matched up with a lyrical ability to really paint a strong picture of stories portrayed through his sound. Commonly seen in his last EP “OH Sh!T ( A story of Growth)”. Then leading on to his debut independent album titled “Whatever Makes You Happy”. Which is recently released. Formerly known as “Branden Andrews” the rapper sound wizard is from Vancouver, WA influenced by the art and skateboard culture found in the northwest. Started making music when he was 15 years old, and later on got his breakthrough in his area through house shows and local events in the area. Influenced by lyrical artists such as MF DOOM to Earl Sweatshirt, but energy like Denzel Curry to Travis Scott. Shows a variety range of sounds in his craft. With single tracks he released on soundcloud in 2015 as “Delirium” which gained him popularity in his area with his witty punchlines and smooth jazz instrumentals produced by “LFTY” really showed his lyrical ability and sharpness of style. In later 2016 he dropped more singles like “Good kid:Baad places” which is packed with full blown energy and delivery showing a more wild but matured artist, keeps the wide range of variety very particular and original. SQVTCH continues to push the boundaries with his Psychedelic, introspective debut album “Whatever Makes you Happy” available on all streaming platforms.
