Hip-Hop artist Cordell Watts was born in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn, New York. He's always had a good ear for music, but decided to take his talents to the next level at the age of 15 years old. At the early stages of his career he idolized other emcees such as Nas, Jay-Z and Cam'Ron. Even going as far as calling himself "Nasty Watts" as a way to honor Queens legend Nas. Cordell Watts started gaining recognition throughout New York in the 4th quarter of 2015 when he dropped his hit single entitled "Veronica". The single was originally suppose to be an interlude, but ended up being the leading single for 2016 project #Soonerthanyouthink.
