Biography

Ronnie Lillard, known as Reconcile, rose from Fort Myers' "Little Pakistan," a neighborhood marked by violence and abandonment. Despite a difficult childhood, these experiences forged his resilient spirit and fueled his music career. Reconcile channels raw emotion and authentic narratives, resonating deeply with listeners by portraying his community's struggles and offering messages of hope and survival. Beyond music, Reconcile champions social justice, focusing on prison reform, police reform, and racial equality. His academic achievements at Rice University, where he triple-majored and has a master’s degree in Public Administration. In 2012, he founded "Live Frontline" to support gang-involved youth in Houston. As Director of Juvenile Justice re-entry in Miami and Broward County, he develops programs for the Department of Juvenile Justice. The George Floyd tragedy (a personal friend of Reconcile) propelled him into national discussions on policing and societal issues. In 2020, Reconcile joined the Continuing Justice Reform Committee, playing a crucial role in shaping Florida's criminal justice policies (He helped draft House Bill #1513 and Senate Bill #1970). His dedication was highlighted in his 2022 TEDxTalk in Miami, where he discussed juvenile justice issues and the impact of negative rap music on communities. In 2024, Reconcile launched "We The Revolt," a non-profit aimed at fostering Christian civic engagement and multi-city ministry networks.
