Austin Malm, better known by his stage name Hevvy (since early 2017), is an multi-instrumentalist, electronic music producer, and audio engineer based out of Los Angeles. He grew up all around the United States ranging from Sacramento, Wisconsin, and most recently Phoenix, After graduating from Arizona State in 2013 and working 7 years as a Mechanical Engineer designing subsea pressure vessels, Malm made the decision to pursue a career in audio. Hevvy has released several singles under labels such as Ninety9lives and EDM Sauce, including his newest release “You & Me”, a collaboration with Whstle. Most notably, he gained recognition by releasing his single “Bounce”, resulting in 30K Spotify plays in the first 4 weeks. Malm has produced in numerous genres such as Future Bass, Brostep, and Melodic Dubstep. His stylistic influences include Teminite, Champagne Drip, Wooli, Xilent, Stonebank, Chime, Trivecta, Bossfight, MitiS, and last but not least Above & Beyond.
